💡 For True/False/Not Given questions, remember that 'Not Given' means the passage neither confirms nor denies the statement — do not rely on general knowledge.
💡 For Summary Completion questions, always check that your answer fits grammatically in the blank and does not exceed the stated word limit.
💡 For Classification questions, read each category description carefully — some statements may appear to fit multiple categories but only one is supported by the specific wording in the passage.
💡 For Yes/No/Not Given questions, 'Yes' means the writer explicitly supports the claim, and 'No' means the writer explicitly contradicts it. Anything else is 'Not Given'.
💡 For Matching Information questions, a single paragraph may contain the answer to more than one question. Scanning each paragraph for specific detail is more efficient than reading in full each time.
💡 For Flowchart Completion questions, the steps will always follow the chronological or logical order presented in the passage. Locate the relevant paragraph first, then work through the steps in sequence.
💡 For Classification questions, be sure to match the statement based on the information provided in the specific paragraph, even if multiple categories seem generally plausible.
💡 For Classification questions, be sure to match the statement not to your opinion, but to the specific argument presented by the Critics or Proponents mentioned in the text.
💡 For Flowchart questions, the order of steps will always follow the sequence of information in the passage.
💡 For Matching Features questions, remember that categories may be used more than once.
💡 For Matching Headings, read the first and last sentences of each paragraph closely before selecting the best fit.
💡 Questions often follow the order of information in the passage. Use bold keywords from the question to locate the correct paragraph quickly.
